Gotta Stick with the Superstition

So every week that I don't write the recap my team seems to win. So in keeping with that superstition I'm going to leave it up to someone else to write the week 11 recap. Sorry, I can't wreck my mojo! Hopefully just writing this post hasn't spoiled my chances.

Some items for the 2005 MMFL Ballot:

- Scoring Adjustments
- Draft in reverse order of last seasons W-L
- Change regular season to 13 weeks instead of 14 (thus avoiding games in week 17 - a week often time corrupted by playoff teams resting their regulars)

Any others?

How about:

The owner of an newly injured player gets the first shot at the back-up, regardless of waiver order.

don't like it pete, sometimes you gotta just draft or pick up your backups, just in case someone like jamal lewis gets injured.

Tough love from the commish. I'd agree w/the commish on the waiver issue, even though as the Blaylock-less Priest owner and Bettis-less Duce owner, the proposed rule could have helped me a lot.

I agree w/shortening the season.

As far as the draft order, I drafted #1 this year, and w/the wrap-around draft, I thought it was a disadvantage--I'd have rather drafted 4th to 7th or so. So, I'd vote to keep it the way it is. And you already have my thoughts on the non-apeshit scoring.

The problem is that Glen did the week 10 recap and promptly lost. I did the recap in week 9, and have lost 2 in a row. So, both of the SF boys are a bit gunshy as well. Now that the Bobkitten onslaught has been stemmed, maybe the Arcadia ownership could contribute a wrap-up? He seems to have quite a bit of hot air to let off.
